With my last semester of college rolling out this week, I have found my schedule jam-packed with things I need to accomplish in a day’s time. Luckily, there are a few tricks you can use to help yourself stay organized and productive. There are three important times of the day where being productive is essential so you can stay on top of your tasks: the beginning of work, lunch, and the end of work. The same can be applied to the school day as well. Forbes compiled three different lists, all of which delve into a “16 Things You Should Do On Your Lunch Break Every Day” segment. A couple of the points really resonated with me.

Be On Time. This point is particularly important to getting your work done. If you are on time, you are able to make the most of your day and time at work or in school.

Take an Actual Lunch Break. Taking an actual break away from school or work is essential to freeing your mind of clutter so that when you do start class or work again, you are able to stay more focused and get the job done in an efficient manner, as well as getting your body the nutrition it needs to stay focused.

Make a New To-Do List. You will be relieved the next day if you create a to-do list the night before. Creating the list gives you two benefits. One: you will know what you need to get accomplished the next day and Two: you can internally plan for the next day to make sure you can get your work done.

All three lists are worth a read through to become better at time management and staying focused. Are there any items on these lists that you agree or disagree with? What ways do you stay productive at work?
